Three Reasons Why Visiting SeaWorld Orlando is Always a Good Idea!

Sea World Orlando is the perfect choice for family fun! You will find that there’s something there for everyone, whether it’s the thrills of the roller coasters or the excitement and wonder of the animals! Listed here are my favorite animal experiences, shows and rides at SeaWorld that are perfect for family fun.

1 The Animal Experiences

You can find a complete list of SeaWorld’s animal experiences here, but my all-time favorite is the Wild Artic Habitat — take a walk on the wild side! That may be a bit of an exaggeration, but the beluga whales, seals and walruses seen along this trail are amazing to observe and learn about.

2 The Shows

Killer Whale, Ocean Discovery & One Ocean — At these live shows you can watch the whales swim around while trainers tell you about their habitat, adaptations and behaviors. This special educational show culminates into exciting dives and tail splashes by the whales. If you opt to sit in a “splash zone,” bring a rain coat!

Pet Ahoy — Spoiler alert! This show does not feature aquatic animals. You’ll see dogs, cats, ducks, doves and even some pigs, though! They all get treats as they complete a fast paced and entertaining choreographed performance.

  1. The Rides

Shamu’s Happy Harbor — Just call this “kids heaven,” with a range of different rides all in one area, little kids and preteens will love spending time here. The lines are short, and the rides are sweet! On top of that, there’s a nice shaded area with tables and benches and several snack and ice cream bars close by.

Sky Tower — This kid friendly experience gives a nice view of the City Beautiful from its 400-foot-high tower.

Manta, Maku and The Kraken — Named after spirited sea creatures (yes even the Kraken) this trio of rides are perfect for the thrill seeker in you! Their fast-paced dips and turns will leave you coming back for more!

Infinity Falls — This is SeaWorld’s newest water ride. It has claimed bragging rights as the “world’s tallest river rapid drop” and is a definite must do! Click here for a preview video to wet your appetite.

You can buy single or multi-park tickets (since SeaWorld Orlando is a sister park to other Florida parks including: Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island) or you can opt for an annual pass that offers payment plans exclusively for Florida residents.

It’s important to recognize that SeaWorld Orlando not only offers fantastic family fun through education and entertainment, they also invest in conservation. Read about their commitment to rescue and conservation operations here.

So, what do you think? Are you ready to plan your SeaWorld Orlando trip?
